Laser station XL-BOX

Secure. Ergonomic. Robust.

Ergonomic station with a large marking area accessible on 3 sides.

Intuitive and user-friendly interface, simplifying its use for operators.

Two modes of use: operator mode and robot mode for integration on a production line.

High-quality, contrasting marking on a wide variety of materials.

Integrated FU4 controller for centralized control and simplified integration into your processes.

The XL-BOX is a MULTI-FUNCTION LASER MARKING STATION that can be used by an operator or integrated in a robotised cell.
The ytterbium-enhanced SIC Marking fibre laser is a latest generation technology that enables HIGH QUALITY MARKING WITHOUT AFFECTING THE MATERIAL, irrespective of the material (steel, aluminium alloy, stainless steel, titanium, plastics, etc.) and with a shorter cycle time.

The marking may be alphanumeric codes, barcode or 2D Datamatrix codes.
The XL BOX provides HIGH CONTRAST ENGRAVING, READABLE WITH THE NAKED EYE, OR instantaneously by READING CAMERAS INTEGRAL with the station. Small, medium and even large production runs can be marked, as the XL-BOX is designed for HIGH RATE marking.

Used as a standalone unit, the engraving station is very ROBUST AND ERGONOMIC for the operator, providing access to a VERY LARGE WORK ZONE from the 3 sides.

The UNIQUE AND INTUITIVE PRODUCTION SOFTWARE is easy to use, even for personnel without much experience in laser technology.

When the XL-BOX laser marking station is integrated into a robotised cell, ONLY ONE CONNECTION TO THE LASER CONTROL RACK is needed for the island PLC to manage the entire station. The station can thus communicate marking data, open and close the automatic door to load and unload parts, start the marking or start up the fumes evacuation.

The XL-BOX equipment provides MAXIMUM SAFETY during use. In addition to a CLASS 1 safety enclosure (standard EN 60825-1), the laser XL-BOX has a PL-E SAFETY LEVEL, WHICH IS THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE ACCORDING TO STANDARD ISO 13849-1.

The system status is indicated by LED lights in the top strip on the enclosure. The interior of the work zone is lit up by LEDs, providing optimum working conditions for the user. The XL-BOX laser engraving machine is available with castors and a table for a PC.

The barcode reader allows automatic and fast selection of the file and content to be marked, eliminating the possibility of input errors. It can read 1D and 2D codes, including QR and Datamatrix codes. It features a Bluetooth connection, ensuring wireless communication with the machine.

The integrated reading function allows automatic replay of 2D and 3D codes. Once the cycle is started, these are immediately read in the same program sequence without any additional movement. The reader communicates the read result with an evaluation of the code quality. The proposed system allows a reading of the code whatever its position in the marking window.

The 3D marking function gives the possibility to mark in a volume at more or less 40 mm from the focal plane. The marking quality and the laser speed are maintained. This function also allows a quick change of reference in the case of parts with variable height.

The rotary axis enables marking on cylindrical or series parts in rotation, ensuring precise and uniform marking across the entire surface. It optimizes productivity by automating the marking process without manual repositioning.

This integrated management software simplifies the automation of marking tasks. It provides complete control over machines, production data management, and workflow optimization to improve productivity and reduce human errors.

The fume extractor is essential for protecting operators from emitted fumes and maintaining optimal marking quality. It effectively removes particles and fumes generated during laser marking, preventing accumulation on parts or lenses. By safeguarding operators and equipment, it extends system lifespan and complies with industrial safety standards.
